Bridge Simulators

Post by sm0keyb » Wed Oct 19, 2016 10:12 pm

I have around ten fairly low spec computers which are probably good enough to run a bridge simulator, like Artemis. I know we've used Waynes system in the past & I know a lot of people really liked it, so is there any interest amongst people to cooperate with me in building a setup that could be readily available to SG event runners? I emphasise that this would not be a mainstream SG project, the Society couldn't practically store & transport such a system but I would intend to make it very available for use at SG events.

I can provide a lot of the hardware, including a couple of joysticks & a network hub. I can usually borrow a projector & I'll probably be able to build the various controllers that I saw in Waynes system. Wayne has offered all the circuits & suchlike. What I would need help with is the software. I'm not a softy & I'm not a computer gamer, so, is anybody out there interested? Please PM or email me.

Bumping this up because the opportunity to get hold of some of the PC will pass quite shortly. If anyone's been thinking about getting involved please let me know ASAP.
